Job Position: Terminator Set-up Operator

Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081

Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Description:

A privately-held manufacturing company in Spring Grove, IL that focuses on electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and wire processing is seeking a terminator set-up operator. Terminator Set-up Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify proper machine set-up specifications.

• Set-up wire terminating machines to job specifications.

• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of wire terminating machines.

• Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications.

• Communicate problems with machine operation.

• Maintain machine maintenance records and machine production specification records.

Terminator Set-up Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64 of an inch.

• Familiar with fraction and decimal conversion

• Possess practical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Work while standing, kneeling, or bending over.

• Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Read small letters at a distance of 12-18 inches.

• Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
