Job Position: Material Handler
Location: Wauconda, IL 60084
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 1st shift, M-Th, 7am - 3:30p.m., Fri 6:00-2:30
Description: We are hiring Material Handlers to support our production team by blending powder and liquid detergent mixes, replenishing production materials, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and general production operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities
Blend powder and liquid detergent mixes for production machines.
Repetitively lift and handle bags weighing up to 55 pounds.
Maintain accurate lot number documentation and production records.
Count and verify bag quantities and product types.
Perform basic mix testing using test strips.
Replenish production materials and supplies for manufacturing equipment.
Assist production personnel as needed to maintain workflow.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including garbage and recycling.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, production, or shipping/receiving is preferred.
Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 55 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to accurately count, record, and document production information.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
