Job Position: CNC Saw Operator

Location: Waukesha, WI 53189

Pay Rate: Up to $28.00/hr BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Description:

We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced saw operator. You’ll be working the first shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

CNC Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate power saws to cut, miter, and trim material according to specifications.

• Select and install blades on the machine, using hand tools.

• Set controls to adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tensions.

• Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct material.

• Mount material in a holding device, manually or using a hoist.

• Verify dimensions of finished material using measuring devices.

CNC Saw Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• At least 1 year of working as a saw operator.

• Good math and blueprint reading skills required. Knowledge of converting between metric and standard units of measure preferred.

• Ability to follow shop routings.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
