Job Position: General Laborer

Location: Harvard, IL 60033

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Description:

We are hiring reliable and hardworking individuals for a General Labor - Fence Construction position. This is an outdoor labor job involving fence building and basic carpentry. No experience is required-we're looking for team players who can show up on time, follow directions, and put in a solid day's work.

General Laborer Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and install fences using hand tools (shovels, hammers, etc.)

• Assist with general carpentry and construction tasks

• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50-100 lbs

• Follow site safety procedures and supervisor directions

• Meet daily at our Harvard, IL location to ride to job sites

• Travel time up to 45 minutes to job site is paid (return travel is not paid)

• Maintain tools and clean work area

• Wear required work gear: boots, jeans, and safety glasses (as needed)

General Laborer Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be dependable, on time, and ready to work outdoors in all weather

• Physically capable of heavy lifting and working long hours on your feet

• Willingness to work some weekends and occasional overtime

• Able to work less than 40 hours per week during slow or poor weather periods

• Able to work well in a team and follow directions carefully

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
